The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) is thrilled to launch a series of virtual conversations with writers across genres discussing the experience of migration, leaving one’s home, and creating a new one. Three to four times a year, ILCM will feature writers of nonfiction, fiction, graphic novels, children’s books, and more who are offering new insights and inspiring meaningful dialogue on political and personal issues.

The premiere of Perspectives will be held on October 8, at 7:30 pm CST, featuring Jia Lynn Yang, Deputy National Editor of the New York Times and author of One Mighty and Irresistible Tide: The Epic Struggle Over American Immigration, 1924-1965. For more information or to register, please see here. Please register by October 7 to receive a link in time for the event.
